The highlight of the evening is a work by artist Cy Twombly estimated between 8 million and 12 million GBP.
Grouped around the Twombly are three artworks with estimates above 1 million GBP by the following artists: Mark Bradford, Tauba Auerbach and Lucio Fontana
Two more artworks estimated at more than 1 million pounds, both by Christopher Wool, are featured in the first part of the auction.
The majority of the artworks offered (25 artworks) have a Low Estimate (LE) of less than 500,000 GBP.
21 artworks (56% of the works offered at the evening auction) are backed by Third party guarantees. One artwork only is guaranteed purely by Phillips.
