A relatively low total estimated valuation (*) (excluding lot 11 which does not have an estimate) for this Contemporary Art sale of 26.47 million GBP compared to the estimate of 39.6 million GBP in October 2014.

Only 4 lots have High Estimates (HE) reaching over 1 million GBP. The works are by Andy Warhol, Alexander Calder, Gerhard Richter and Martin Kippenberger. No works are predicted to make more than 2.5 million GBP.

37 lots have a Low Estimate (LE) of less than 500,000 GBP. 9 lots have LE under 100,000 GBP.

The highlight of the evening is Peter Doig’s "Cabin Essence" for which there is no estimate. Doig’s "Swamped (1990)" broke records at the Christie’s New York sale in May 2015 selling for 25,925,000 USD.

Only 6 artworks are guaranteed. Two of these are guaranteed purely by Christie’s whilst the other four are backed by Third party guarantees.
